Religious and Hebrew School - Beit Sefer Beth Hillel

Religious School (meets Sundays):
Our school strives to create a rich, vibrant learning environment in which we can nourish our children's growing Jewish identities, create a community of peers that is part of the larger community at Beth Hillel and the global Jewish community, and build the skills that children will need to be participatory members of their community. Our school is the place where our children can learn new skills and ideas, struggle with questions of theology, meaning, and connection at an age appropriate level, and test what they have learned through prayer, discussion, and interaction with their teachers and staff.

Family synagogue participation in services, school events, and social action projects will further enrich the children's Jewish education.

"If we don't stand up for children, then we don't stand for much."
~Marion Wright Edelman

Temple Tots:
Temple Tots is a fun parent/child educational program for children ages 0-5 years old (pre-kindergarten). The class meets once a month during the school year on Sunday mornings from 10:00am to around 11:15am. The curriculum is based on the Jewish holidays which are explained through stories, hands-on activities, crafts, songs and snacks. The class allows the children and parents to get to know one another prior to starting the weekly Sunday School educational program. The class is always free to members and to non-members during their first year of participation. Parents volunteer to bring holiday associated snacks and project supplies.
