HFA's 2017 Living with Grief Program: When Grief Is Complicated.

While most people are able to cope with the pain of loss, up to 10 to 20 percent of bereaved persons have more complicated reactions that may impair and impede functioning for a prolonged period of time. This program and discussion is designed to assist counselors and others working with bereaved persons understand, assess and assist individuals who may be experiencing such complicated forms of bereavement.

When Grief Is Complicated

Our WISDOM Madison Action Day is our major advocacy event. This takes place every two years when the state budget is being discussed and debated. Gov. Walker is expected to release his proposed budget this week. There will surely be areas you will want to take a stand on. The theme this year is:

In addition, feel free to bring unopened "chametz" before Passover begins--through April 9 only please. The non-perishables will be taken to the Shalom Center Food Pantry before the holiday begins.
